Republic only made 32% of their shots from the field, but held on as Oroville missed a three-point attempt in the waning seconds.

Curlew got off to a hot-start and never looked back, defeating visiting Oroville 84-33 on Saturday. The Cougars led 30-4 after one period and 50-18 at the half. Hunter Beedle led five Curlew players in double-figures with 17 points. Aaron McCullough added 14 points and 10 rebounds, Gunner Brown had 12 points and eight assists, and Mathan Knapp and Coby Grumbach scored 10 each.
