Northwest Christian used a balanced scoring attack to blow by Asotin 85-57 in the state regional 2B Tournament Saturday afternoon. David Olds poured in 22 points, including 4 threes in the 3rd quarter to help fuel a big second half for NWC. Ryan Ricks kicked in 18, along with Asher Cox who also chipped in 18 as the Dragons kept Asotin at arms length the entire second half. NWC will advance to the round of 8 at the State 2B tournament while Asotin's season comes to an end.
Northwest Christian 70, St. George's 43

The Northeast 2B opponents Northwest Christian and St. George's ended their matchup with a 70-43 win for Northwest Christian as part of the sub-regional championship. Ryan Ricks scored 13 points and pulled in 20 rebounds as part of revitalized transition game that allowed Northwest Christian to jump out in front in the second half. Asher Cox added 19 points as well. NW Christian will continue on to regional play as a No. 1 seed, while St. George's will have to settle for a No. 2 seed.
