Devin Magers threw a two-hitter and had seven strikeouts and Wilbur-Creston qualified for the state tournament with a 17-3 victory over Northwest Christian on Tuesday in a Northeast 2B subregional at Medical Lake. Mason Anderson added three hits and had two RBIs for the Wildcats. Nathan Sanders hit a triple for Northwest Christian, who later played St. George's in a loser-out game.

St. George's defeated Northwest Christian 7-4 in the final 2B District 7-9 loser-out game, advancing to the round of 16 on May 21 in Chehalis. Isaac Werkman hit a three-run double in the third inning for the Dragons. With the score tied at 4 in the sixth inning, St. George's scored three runs highlighted by a 2-run single by Zach Steele.
