Shyler Sullivan led Southridge with 22 points, including 9-for-11 shooting from the free-throw line, to help the Suns to a 66-46 win over North Central (9-14) in a 3A subregional at Kennewick. Quincy McDeid scored 15 points for North Central, all on 3-pointers. Lexie Brandt scored nine points for NC, including a 3-pointer. With the loss, NC is eliminated. Southridge will face Mt. Spokane at Mt. Spokane on Saturday.

Jordan Smith, in her first game back after injury, poured in 22 points, including five 3-pointers as Mt. Spokane cruised to 56-26 victory in the championship game of the District 8 3A tournament Friday night. Seirra Poquette added 10 points for the Wildcats, who will move on play as the No. 1 seed in the opening round of regionals. North Central, paced by Quincy McDeid's 10 points, will move on as the second seed to regionals despite the loss.
