What happened: The Pioneers (14-9) beat the Scotties (19-4) by set scores 29-27, 23-25, 20-25, 25-12 and 10-15 in a State 1A loser-out at the Yakima Valley SunDome. Nooksack Valley advanced to beat Castle Rock 3-1 in the 5th place game.
