The Mt. Spokane Wildcats ended their season at 18-10 after a 3-1 loss to the Holy Names Cougars in a loser-out match at the State 3A volleyball tournament at Kennewick's Toyota Center on Saturday morning. The Wildcats scored the final two points of the first game, including a winning ace that sneaked over the net, but the Cougars were in charge for Games 2 and 3. Mt. Sophomore Miahna Waters had a match-high 17 kills as Mt. Spokane rallied from a 2-0 deficit to defeat Bishop Blanchet 3-2 in a State 3A volleyball opener Friday at Toyota Center in Kennewick. Senior Kelly Brown added 25 assists and two blocks for the Wildcats, who moved on to a 5 p.m. quarterfinal against Kennedy.
