What happened: The Kangaroos shut out the Wildcats (11-5) in the first round of the 3A State championship at Interbay Athletic Complex on Friday. Lake Washington advances to play a second round game on Saturday.

What happened: Addi Edmonson scored two goals and the Wildcats (11-4) shut out the visiting Titans (6-11-1) in the District 8 3A championship game on Thursday. Kylie Stiles added a goal and three assists for Mt. Spokane. Both teams qualified for state.
