At Gonzaga Prep, Mt. Spokane's Kimber Tutt hit a three-run home run in the fifth inning to power the Wildcats past the Bullpups 6-3 in GSL play. Gonzaga Prep scored three runs in the first and held a 3-2 lead going into the fifth inning when Tutt launched her home run. Makinsey Finch went 2 for 3 for the Wildcats with one run scored. For the Bullpups, Mackenzie Irwin went 3 for 4 with a triple and a run scored.

Brianna Smith grand slam highlighted a 7-run seventh inning and visiting Lewis and Clark went on to defeat Mt. Spokane 14-9 in a Greater Spokane League slowpitch game on Monday. Of the 10 LC players who batted, seven had at least two hits as the Tigers piled up 21 hits. Trailing 14-4 in the seventh inning, Mt. Spokane took advantage of two LC errors to score five runs.
