What happened: Kendall Omlin scored 19 points and the Saxons (18-5) beat the visiting Wildcats (9-13) in a District 8 3A loser-out game on Thursday. Sloan Gardner led Mt. Spokane with 18 points and three 3-pointers. Elliott Hencz scored 14 points with four 3-pointers for Ferris, which faces Kennewick in the district third-place game on Saturday at noon.
