Lake City fell to Mountain View 67-43 Tuesday at the Lake City Tournament. Whitney Meier scored 12 points for the Timberwolves, while Clarissa Smith added 10. Keara Simpson notched nine points and 10 rebounds, and Natalie Wheelock dished out five assists. LC stayed close into the fourth quarter, but the Mavericks, ranked No. 1 in the state's media poll, pulled away behind Destiny Slocum's 27-point effort.
