What happened: Nick Bankey rushed for 141 yards and one touchdown and the Bullpups (7-2, 7-1) defeated the visiting Mavericks (6-3, 4-2) in a District 8 4A first round playoff game. Brock Clark rushed for 120 yards and three touchdowns and threw for 147 yards for the Mavericks. The Bullpups advance to the State playoffs.
