What happened: Ashlyn Neilsen scored 21 points, knocking down 10-of-11 from the free throw line and the 11th-seeded Tigers eliminated the sixth-seeded Lions in a State 1B loser-out game at the Spokane Arena on Wednesday. Odessa advances to play fourth-seeded Mount Vernon Christian on Thursday at 9 a.m. in a quarterfinal matchup. Makiya Kast led Moses Lake with 22 points. Odessa entered the fourth quarter down two, but outscored the Lions by seven to win.
