King's Way snuck past Medical Lake 47-45 to advance in the 1A State tournament. Kienan Walter led the way with 24 points on 8 of 13 shooting, and five rebounds. Cory Wagner led Medical Lake (19-7) with 15 points in their 55-51 victory over La Salle in their playoff match-up, including a shot with 3:16 remaining that put Medical Lake in the lead and kept them there.
