Kazlyn Roullier (CV) had 18 kills, Jade Rockwood (CV) added 24 assists, and three aces and Central Valley (24-1-1) qualified for 4A regional with a 3-1 win over Mead in a District 8 4A semifinal at Central Valley. Payton Douglass had 30 digs and three aces to lead Mead. The first game was tied 13 times - including every point from 19 to 24 - before Central Valley got a key kill from Rouillier. Mead led game four 18-17, before Central Valley pulled away for the victory.

Rachael Meyer had 10 kills, 11 digs and three aces as Gonzaga Prep (17-11) qualified for regional with a 3-1 win over Mead in a District 8 4A loser-out match at Central Valley. Maria Adams added seven kills, five blocks and 10 digs for the Bullpups, who will play at Pasco at 6 p.m. Tuesday in a loser-out match. Ashtyn Taylor had 15 kills, and Payton Douglass added 30 digs for the Panthers.
