Central Valley may have scored In the first minute of play, but it was Mead's Olivia Sloan that scored in the 73rd minute which forced this 2-2 game to go into overtime and shootout, with playoff hopes on the line for both teams. In the end, it was Central Valley that would win in penalty kicks, 4-2. University defeated Central Valley 2-0 in a GSL girls soccer regular season finale on Friday at University. Morgan Crosby and Brooke Berg scored for the Titans. Ryann Rydeen made 11 saves for University. The second-seeded Titans will play No. 3 Ferris on Thursday at 5 p.m. at University in a district opener.
