Kirsten Anstrom had three hits and scored twice to help University beat Mead 10-1 for the Greater Spokane League title on Friday. Kylee Hughes went 3 for 3 with a homer for U-Hi, which finished its season undefeated at 22-0, 21-0 in the GSL. Mead (17-6, 15-6) was led by Ashley Hammond and Destiny Scott with three hits apiece.

Ashley Hammond went 2 for 3 with a two-run single in a four-run seventh to help Mead edge Rogers 7-5. Rogers' Jessica Gennett went 2 for 3 with a double and a three-run home run.
