After a close, defensive first half, Central Valley dominated the third quarter to create an insurmountable lead, ultimately defeating Mead 63-48. The Bears tied it up at 24-24 at the end of the first half on an Adam Chamberlain three-pointer. Central Valley nearly doubled their score in the third quarter, outscoring the Panthers 19-2 in the frame. Cameron Tucker was key in the outburst, as he scored six of his 16 points in the quarter. Mead rallied in the fourth quarter to knock off Central Valley 66-59. Will McPhee led the Panthers with 21 points. Mitchell Banaugh added 18 points, as he made all five of his three-point attempts. On the game, the visitors shot 11 of 20 from beyond the arc. Adam Chamberlain led the Bears with 21 points. CV could have claimed a share of the league crown with a win, but falls into a tie for second with the loss.
