What happened: Despite Kelsey Auer's strong performance, St. Maries couldn't quite make it past Malad, and had to settle for 3rd place in the state tournament. What it means: St. Maries places third in state, while last year's champ, Malad went on to take second, losing to Nampa 3-1 in the final.
