What happened: Reganne Arnold scored 10 points and the two-seeded Lyncs (23-3) beat the ninth-seeded Scotties (20-6) in a 1A state quarterfinal on Thursday at the Yakima Valley SunDome. Stephanie Chadduck led Freeman with 11 points. Lynden Christian will play Wapato in a semifinal on Friday at the Yakima Valley SunDome, while Freeman will play Montesano in a loser-out.
