Genesis Wilkinson's 16 points led three starters in double figures Thursday as top-seeded East Valley defeated No. 7 Lynden, the defending champion, 58-38 in the state 2A quarterfinals at the SunDome in Yakima. Faith Adams scored 13 points and Brie Holecek added 10 for the Knights (21-1), who face No. 5 Archbishop Murphy in Friday's first semifinal. Ruby VanderHaak and Natalie Amos scored nine each for the Lions.
