Cody Peplinski had a big night and came up big down the stretch, as host St. George's held off Lind-Ritzville Sprague 48-45 in a District 7 2B postseason game. Peplinski led the Dragons with 20 points and six rebounds. St. George's started strong, as they took a 30-18 lead into the halftime break. Cort Ruzicka finished with a game-high 16 points and eight rebounds to lead Lind-Ritzville-Sprague to a 53-43 win over Reardan on Saturday. Reardan jumped out to a 5-0 lead to start the game, but the Broncos responded scoring 18 of the next 20 points fueled by back-to-back 3-pointers by Kyle Canaday.
