Senior Matt Leffel had seven strikeouts and did not allow an earned run as Lind-Ritzville/Sprague took a 14-1 victory against visiting Springdale in the first game of a Northeast 2B doubleheader on Tuesday. Cort Ruzicka had two hits including an RBI double for the Broncos, who scored 10 runs in the third inning to put the game out of reach. Colin Sheffels added an RBI triple.

Senior Matt Leffel hit a two-run homer to give host Lind-Ritzville/Sprague a lead they would not give back as they won the second game of a Northeast 2B doubleheader over Springdale on Tuesday. Cort Ruzicka and Colin Sheffels had two hits apiece for the Broncos, who scored four runs in both the fourth and fifth innings to secure the doubleheader sweep.
