Peyton Curtis scored 18 points and grabbed five rebounds, and Lind-Ritzville/Sprague defeated Liberty 40-35 Monday in the 2B regional tournament at Waitsburg. Tommi Swannack added 11 points and Tessa Jantz tallied nine points and nine boards for the Broncos, who will now play again Friday at Mead against Dayton. Maggie Nelson notched 17 points for the Lancers, who were eliminated.

Christine Denny's triple-double paced Liberty to a 53-49 win in a District 7 2B playoff game at West Valley High School Friday night. Denny had 23 points, 15 rebounds and 10 steals for the Lancers. Meika Heath led the Gorillas with 16 points, while Sydney Abbot chipped in 11 and went 6 of 7 from the free throw line in the fourth quarter.
