Liberty's Christine Denny hit a 3 at the Buzzer to send Liberty and Lind-Ritzville Sprague into overtime, but in the end, LRS edged the Lancers 72-67. Mallory Kessler led LRS with 22 points and nine rebounds, and Tommi Swannack added 12 points and eight rebounds. For Liberty, Denny scored 27 points, and Maggie Nelson added 24. Next, LRS will play St. George's, Tuesday, for a chance at the consolation game in the North East 2B tournament.

Rachel Bozlee racked up 15 points, four rebounds, two steals, and two assists to propel Northwest Christian to a 62-33 win over Liberty at the District 7 2B Tournament at Reardan. Mackenzi Gray collected 13 points and eight rebounds, and Courtney Gray added 12 points for the Crusaders. Christine Denny led Liberty with 15 points. Northwest Christian takes on Davenport in the semifinals in Reardan on Saturday at 2:30 pm, while Liberty squares off against LRS in the consolation bracket.
