Freeman outscored Lakeside 18-9 in the fourth quarter and closed out the game on a 25-11 run in a 52-47 win, claiming the District 7 1A title and earning the No. 1 berth to regionals. Dylan Oja, who scored eight points on the night, drilled two 3-pointers in the last two minutes to seal the game for Freeman.
