The Bears started hot, going 4 for 6 from three in the first quarter and building an early 14-point lead, as they advance to state with a 62-51 win over Lakeland at North Idaho College. Adam Gresch and Nick Ellison combined for 35 points, with Gresch scoring a game-high 18 points for Moscow. Jake Ram led Lakeland with 15 points in the loss.

Lakeland jumped to a 7-0 lead and never looked back in a 61-33 victory over Sandpoint in Idaho 4A Region I play at North Idaho College. Tyrel Derrick scored 18 points and had seven assists for Lakeland, Jake Ram added 12 points and Slader Ray scored nine points and pulled down seven rebounds. Lakeland plays Moscow at 8 p.m. Wednesday at NIC for the district championship, while Sandpoint was eliminated.
