Lakeland kept their season alive by defeating Sandpoint 11-0 in 4A Region I play. Kenny Cooper shut out the Bulldogs, giving up only five hits and a walk and throwing four strikeouts. Dalton Strong went 2 for 3 with two RBI, and Jared McDaniel went 2 for 4 with another two RBI. Lakeland will play at Moscow this Saturday and would have to win twice to advance to state.
