Ashley Reyes dug out 12 digs with a pair of service aces and Lake City (8-0) beat visiting Post Falls (3-5) in three sets (25-15, 25-20, 25-22) in the 5A District 1-2 Championship match on Tuesday. Klaire Mitchell recorded 27 assists and three blocks for the Timberwolves.

The top-seeded Timberwolves swept the No. 4 Vikings in three sets (25-16, 25-20, 25-16) in the first round of the 5A District 1-2 playoffs. Lake City will face Post Falls on Tuesday for the district title and a berth to the state playoffs.
