Whitney Meier shot 7-12 from beyond the 3-point line as part of her 34 points for Lake City in their 68-42 win over Hillcrest in the 5A State Consolation game. Bridget Reiken also scored six points and pulled down seven rebounds. Hillcrest's Lindsay Cook was able to score 29 points in a losing effort. Lake City claims fourth place in the state tournament with the victory.

Nina Carlson led Lake City (20-5) with 15 points, including four field goals was 6-6 on free throws, to give her team a 59-30 victory over Highland in their 5A State playoff match-up in Nampa. Lauren Rewers earned 11 points for Lake City, including five field goals and was 1-1 on free throws. With this victory, Lake City moves on to the next round of the playoffs.
