Shayna Allert led Post Falls to a 52-35 victory over Lake City with 11 points, nine rebounds, five assists and four steals. Melody Kempton was the high scorer, dominating the paint with 26 points, including 8-15 from the line and 10 rebounds. Clarissa Smith netted 16 points for Lake City and was a perfect 4-4 from the line. With the win, the Trojans advanced to play Rocky Mountain, Saturday in Grangeville for a play-in game.

Lauren Rewers tallied 11 points and 10 boards, and Clarissa Smith posted 14 points as host Lake City downed Coeur d'Alene 42-30 in the 5A Districts. Madisen Scholwinksi racked up a game-high 15 for the Vikings. Lake City will travel to play Post Falls in the 5A District Championship on Saturday, with the winner advancing to a state play-in game at Grangeville.
