Madi Schoening scored 20 points, and Sandpoint rode a big third quarter to a 49-41 win over Kuna in the 4A State quarterfinals Thursday at Boise. The game was deadlocked at 22 entering halftime, but a 17-6 surge in the third from the Bulldogs gave them the margin they needed to survive and advance.
