With a State tournament berth in the balance, Lakeside came up with a fourth-quarter rally to top visiting Kootenai 55-46 on Thursday in the 1A District II championship game. The Knights face a 42-39 deficit entering the fourth, but used a 16-4 closing spurt to seal a trip to Caldwell next week. Dakota Abrahamson led Lakeside with 16 points. Kootenai 54, Clark Fork 30

Morgan Willms scored a game-high 17 points, and host Kootenai rode it's stifling defense in the first half and cruised to a 54-30 Idaho 1ADI District I tournament win over Clark Fork on Tuesday. Hunter Whipple had 14 points, five steals and four assists for the Warriors, who will travel to Plummer to play Lakeside on Thursday at 6 p.m. Brandon Bowen and Geoffry Boudousquie scored nine points apiece for the Wampus Cats, who saw their season end with the loss.
