What happened: June Fiander scored 16 points, Dylyn Dress added 14, including four 3-pointers, and the eleventh-seeded Lions (15-6) beat the visiting fourteenth-seeded Falcons (11-9) in the 3A state opening round at Richland High School on Friday. Grace Sheridan led Ridgeline with 17 points, including three 3-pointers.

What happened: Addison Wells-Morrison scored 27 points, Teryn Gardner added 20 and the top-seeded Panthers (22-1) beat the visiting second-seeded Lions (17-6) in the District 8 3A championship game on Saturday. Haylee Johnson scored 24 points for Kennewick. Both teams qualified for State.
