Freeman exploded for 22 points in the fourth quarter and topped Kalama 58-52 to advance to the state title game at the Yakima Valley SunDome on Friday night. Michael Coumont scored a team-high 19 points and Ryan Maine added 12 points and seven rebounds for the Scotties. Kalama was led by Hunter Esary, who poured in a game-high 25 points. Freeman faces King's in the championship game at 7 p.m. on Saturday. Kalama takes on King's Way Christian in the third place game at 11:15 a.m.
