Valley Christian powered past Inchelium 66-17 behind double-doubles from Hannah Fields and Kendra Pope on Saturday night. Phoebe Trigsted scored a game-high 14 points and snagged five steals, Pope scored 10 points and snagged 11 boards while Fields finished with 10 and 10 for Valley Christian. Valley Christian led 35-8 at half and did not let up in the second.

Tiffany Boutain netted 17 points, and Almira/Coulee-Hartline got off to a blistering start in a 67-29 win over visiting Inchelium Tuesday in the District 7 1B tournament. The Warriors led 32-0 after the first quarter. Brenna and Kara Oliver each added 12 points. Randi Finley led the Hornets with 12 points. Both teams will now play on Saturday in Deer Park against opponents to be determined.
