Brittany Tackett led Coeur d'Alene with 20 points and nine rebounds as the Vikings topped Hillcrest in the opening round of the Idaho 5A State championships in Nampa. Sydney Williams added 14 points, and Madison Sumner had 11 in the win. Lindsay Cook scored 14 points for Hillcrest. Coeur d'Alene will take on Mountain View tomorrow at 6:15 p.m.
