Sarah Frahm scored the games first goal off a nifty pass from Katie Kuka in the 60th minute and Mead held off Hanford 2-0 in a 4A District 8 first round game at Albi Stadium on Wednesday. Mead picked up insurance on Hanford’s own goal in the 73rd minute. Next games: Oct. 28, University at Mead, Joe Albi.
