Kate Budig had 20 kills and the Bullpups (13-4) beat the Titans (11-5) in four sets (21-25, 25-15, 25-15, 25-7) in a 4A District 8 consolation semifinal at Mead High School on Saturday. Emily Zink added 24 assists and four service aces for the Bullpups. Gonzaga Prep advances to the third-place game against Walla Walla and University is eliminated.

Kate Budig led the Bullpups with 15 kills, but Walla Walla (14-5) defeated Gonzaga Prep (13-5) in four sets (25-20, 25-20, 12-25, 25-23) in a 4A District 8 third place match at Mead High School on Saturday. Gonzaga Prep is eliminated from state tournament contention and Walla Walla grabs the third and final seed. Emily Zink added 20 assists and five service aces for the Bullpups.
