Gonzaga Prep's season came to end in Pasco as the Bullpups fell to the host Bulldogs 25-16, 23-25, 25-19, 25-22 in a 3A regional. Maria Adams had 17 digs, three blocks and two aces, and Rachael Meyer had 10 kills and two aces for G-Prep. Pasco will play University at 1 p.m. Saturday in a loser-out regional match at Richland. The winner will meet the Central Valley-Richland loser at 3 p.m. for the region's second berth to state.

Alex Douglas had 12 kills,14 aces and three aces as University (25-3 overall) rallied past Gonzaga Prep (16-11) qualifying for the 4A regional with a 3-2 victory in the District 8 4A semifinal at Central Valley. Sarah Carpenter added 24 assists and 22 digs for the Titans, who trailed the fifth game 14-11.
