Lewis and Clark (7-14) scored two runs off of three Gonzaga Prep (4-14) errors to take an 9-8 victory in a District 8 4A playoff game. The Tigers took a 7-6 lead in the bottom of the sixth off of a two-run single by Naomi Harris. The Bullpups responded with a two-run single by Darrian Staab in the top of the seventh to take an 8-7 lead. Lewis and Clark plays University tomorrow at 5pm at Whitworth.

Senior Makenna Wasteney pitched a complete game and Macie Reynolds was 2 for 2 with two triples and an RBI to lead host Central Valley to a 8-1 win over Gonzaga Prep in the Greater Spokane League finale for both teams. Wasteney scattered four hits while striking out nine and seniors Shayla Vegas and Celynna Cobbs had two hits apiece for the Bears ().
