Mt. Spokane piled up 27 hits in a 20-1 victory over host Ferris in a Friday GSL matchup. Senior Kimber Tutt pitched a complete game giving up only three hits and went 4-6 from the plate with two runs, four RBIs and a big three-run home run. Kyla Stern went 4-6 with three runs, three RBIs and a double, and Hannah Bell went 3 for 6 with two runs, two RBIs and a triple.

Shortstop Laurie Jones finished 4 for 4 with four RBIs and senior Maddie Icard had three hits in three at-bats as Shadle Park (16-1) clinched at least a tie for the Greater Spokane League regular-season title with a five-inning, 23-0 win over visiting Ferris. Shadle, riding an 11-game winning streak, will complete its regular season at Mead on Friday and play for the District 8 3A title at 5 p.m. Thursday at Whitworth University.
