Caleb Hill scored the game-winning run off an errant pitch to push Ferris past Lewis and Clark 5-4 for the final game of conference play on Monday. With two outs and two on-base in the bottom of the seventh, Ferris trailed by one until Alec Salazer hit the ball just past the pitcher leading to an error at first base. Camryn Schon was perfect at the plate, Cal Webb pitched efficiently, and Lewis and Clark smoked visiting Ferris 13-3 Friday in a GSL matchup. Schon went 4 for 4 and scored four runs. He also drove in one. Ethan LaValley added a two-run double during the Tigers' eight-run burst in the first inning. Webb struck out four to earn his first win of the year, and Cole Beemer closed out the game. Caleb Hill recorded a pair of hits for the Saxons.
