Desi Tennant pitched a complete game and the Greyhounds eliminated the Knights 10-6 in the first round of the District 7 2A playoffs on Saturday. Pullman capitalized on seven East Valley errors. East Valley's Sydney Martin went 2 for 4 with two doubles. Pullman faces the Cheney/Clarkston winner on Monday in a loser-out game.

What happened: Maddie Kallsen hit a solo home run in the third inning and the Knights defeated the Blackhawks 9-7 on Tuesday. Shay Thompson earned the win with five innings pitched and Kaitlyn Harvey went 3 for 3 with three RBIs. East Valley faces Pullman in the first round of the Great Northern League tournament on Saturday.
