Tina Carlson had seven assists and eight aces to lead Deer Park to a 3-2 victory over Chewelah in a Northeast A League tiebreaker Monday night. Deer Park moves on to districts as the number six seed and faces top-seeded Colville at Lakeside on Tuesday night. The season ends for Chewelah. The teams were knotted at two sets apiece and the Cougars led 13-11 in the final set before the Stags won it 15-13. Maggie Cobb led Chewelah with four aces and two blocks.
