In a loser-out matchup, Colfax pushed Davenport out of the postseason, defeating the Gorillas 52-43. The Bulldogs used strong free-throw shooting, they went 19-23 from the line, and a solid performance from Kasey Johnson, who scored 19 points, to outpace Davenport. Austin Zellar and Wyatt Evers both scored ten points to lead the Gorillas. Colfax claimed the #5 seed and, on Thursday, will play the #4 seed out of the District 9 tournament in a play-in game for sub-regionals.

Jonathan Morris scored 19 points to lead Northwest Christian to a 64-48 victory over Davenport in the Northeast 2B District playoffs. Ryan Ricks added 14 for the Crusaders. Max Mielke scored eight of his 15 points in the fourth quarter in a late rally for the Gorillas. Northwest Christian will play Liberty tomorrow in a 3rd/4th place game where both are guaranteed to advance. Davenport will play Colfax in a loser-out game.
