Alec Bluff scored 19 points and gathered 10 rebounds, and Cusick used a big fourth quarter to top Garfield-Palouse 59-51 Saturday at Mt. Spokane in a 1B regional round of state game. With the win, Cusick advances to the state quarterfinals, which will take place Thursday at the Spokane Arena. Alec Bluff netted 22 points and had 10 rebounds, and Cusick played inspired defense in the second half as they rallied past Selkirk 47-35 in the District 7 1B Tournament at Deer Park on Saturday.
