Tyler Chipman tossed a no-hitter with 11 strikeouts and the Bulldogs eliminated the visiting Indians (9-11) 10-0 in six innings in a 1A Northeast A/Caribou Trail League crossover on Tuesday. The only runner to reach base against Chipman came on an error with one out in the fifth but he quickly got out of the inning with a strikeout and groundout.

What happened: Brayden Flugel scattered a pair of hits, struck out six and drove in two runs to lead Colville (9-10) over Chewelah (12-8) 8-2 in the District 7 1A loser-out third-place game at Avista Stadium. Reilly Harbolt came in and struck out two to close the final frame. Tayeb Wilson collected two RBIs on two doubles. Colville advances to play Cashmere in a regional loser-out crossover game on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. for a shot at the state tournament.
