Colfax punched a ticket to state with a sweep over Wilbur-Creston on Saturday in the semifinals of the District 7/9 2B regional tournament at Asotin high school on Saturday. Carmen Gfeller smashed 16 kills and finished with six serving aces to lead the Bulldogs.

Colfax will enter the 1B state tournament as District 7/9's No. 1 with its swept over Tri-Cities Prep in the regional championship Saturday afternoon. Tri-Cities Prep enters state as the No. 2 seed from the region. Carmen Gfeller and Olivia Mellor finished with 11 kills each to lead the Bulldogs, and Ashtyn Aune tacked on 14 assists to contribute to the victory.
