Carmen Gfeller scored 33 points with 10 rebounds and the the fifth-seeded Bulldogs (20-4) defeated the No. 4 seed Tigers (21-3) in a 2B regional at W.F. West HS in Chehalis. Melissa Lee led Napavine with 17 points. Colfax plays on Thursday at 9 a.m. in a state quarterfinal while Napavine plays on Wednesday at 12:15 p.m. in a state first-round elimination game. Greta Geier added six points with 14 rebounds for Colfax.

Carmen Gfeller scored 22 points with eight rebounds and the No. 8-rated Bulldogs (19-4) topped the No. 2-rated Gorillas (19-4) in the District 7 championship game at West Valley HS. Both teams move on to the regional round of state. Greta Geier scored 16 points and Piper Cai added four points, seven steals and four assists for Colfax, who jumped out to a 13-0 lead. Janaye Wilkie led Davenport with 14 points.
