Dan Gunnerson struck out seven over six innings and the Vikings (18-10) knocked off the Bengals (19-8) in the consolation round final at Capital HS in Boise. Trevor Luckey and Jayce Bailey had a pair of hits with two RBIs apiece for CdA.

Thomas Robinson allowed two runs – both unearned – over five innings and the Vikings (15-11) beat Columbia 7-2 in a consolation bracket game at Capital HS in Boise. Robinson gave up five hits and walk with three strikeouts. Brett Keesee and Justin Bates both tossed a scoreless inning of relief. Kallen Langley went 1 for 4 with three RBIs and Quinton Bunch went 2 for 3 and drove in two. Coeur d’Alene faces Lewiston in the consolation bracket final on Saturday at 9 a.m.
